Does Lulus Run Small: Our Honest Review

Lulus clothing usually runs small compared to other brands, and you may need to size up to get the perfect fit.

After starting as a little shop in northern California over 25 years ago, Lulus has gone entirely digital and is now one of the most loved brands for stylish yet affordable clothing.

They’re a women-exclusive brand known for their dresses, swimwear, jackets, and accessories. Lulus has cracked the code in terms of being relatively affordable while giving out a luxurious and premium vibe!

It is undoubtedly a great place to shop, and in this article, I’m going to help you pick the perfect size for you, considering some of the sizing inconsistencies that Lulus products come with.

How does Lulus clothing fit?

Lulus sizing

Lulus clothing tends to be a tad bit smaller than its counterparts. This is especially true for their dresses & jackets.

A good comparison in terms of fit would be Zara, as even clothes from that particular brand often end up being smaller than expected, and a larger size is needed.

So what size should you buy?

Here’s what I recommend. Here’s a link to the official Lulus size chart. Take a look at it, and compare your measurements with the chart.

If you are buying tops or footwear, just follow the size chart exactly. Buying a dress or a jacket? Go one size up from what the chart recommends. And finally, if you are buying jeans, go one size down from what the chart says.

Using this rule of thumb, you can avoid dealing with the hassle of returning or exchanging the products.

Quick Tip 👉 Sometimes the Lulus website shows discounts on products only after going through the clearance section and not if you directly go to the product page. Thus, make sure that you always check for your product in the sale section on the Lulus website.

Let’s dive into each category in a more detailed manner.
